For school, groups or camps...Karen actually goes to the location with the Pottery Wheel and wedged & centered clay on small bats. She teaches vocabulary words for enrichment and discuss tools, does a complete demo, after which each child gets time on the wheel.  

These mobile classes run for three weeks (skipping the second week for the clay to dry and be fired); and during the third week we do the glazing.

The glazing part of the class is extremely fun and educational:  her students learn about the glazes and the firing. Then she spends time on critiquing their pieces of art pottery.

This is a great opportunity for children and seniors alike, church groups, summer camps, birthday parties, etc. Karen has even done a family reunion.
